TO WANT ONLY SOME OF IT ALL

The sometimes
of the most of my always
ensnares me
in its often trap
and though by I pass
in silence
I cannot blind
the all seeing knower
that fondles me
with sweet maybe impressions
and tickles my soul
with partial bliss
and otherworldly
here not there
allowable temptations
that only so far
have shaken my distant senses
with semi-translucent delirium
more often than not ever
but much more than
an inexcusable
not quite nearly enough!

BRANCH

Each branch
of my life-giving tree
provides a path
my heart can follow

where its direction
and connecting purpose
lead outward (always)
to infinite beauty:

to a scope beyond that
which its blind roots
and captured leaves
might only dream exists

PENNED DANCE

Barely living,
one’s dance
doth animate;
one’s words,
rhythm providing,
doth speak.

SPAKE

Impale, oh thee, thine words
with burning, slow incisions,
once, and again,
unto death’s
arrival.

INNER LENS

“How far within must one journey before one captures the realisation that one’s fullest potential is already reached; that one’s constant seeking is an expression of one’s true path to self discovery and freedom – a path where presence and growth are characteristics of what may be found within; the inner lens that reflects back a being that one knows better than one knows . . .”
