Journey across time with calendar wings,
moments packed like spare t-shirts
and extra socks,
passport in one hand and
a window seat to the right;
an empty notebook penciled by thought –
its white void the clouds
that fuel your glorious lungs

Honeymoon with more sky and fewer limits,
bound at the ankles by freedom
– and spontaneity, by chance –
the fresh juice of destiny
your north in every glass of south;
a stomach full of butterflies
to take you to places the maps won’t

Voyage, gift-wrapped in mystery,
each sunrise peeled apart with branching arms;
that new car smell
to steer you upon the magic
of rhyming skies and watercolour footprints –
companionship in purpose
embedded into the souls
of all who climb the peaks of your dreams
beside you

Adjacent to indecision lies one potential so lucid that it exists without ever becoming aware.

A little birdy told me
that beneath your eyes
you house a nest
of promise
filled with eggs
of fortune
that contain your golden secrets;

but that they will never hatch
without the heat of a woman’s touch.

“How far within must one journey before one captures the realisation that one’s fullest potential is already reached; that one’s constant seeking is an expression of one’s true path to self discovery and freedom – a path where presence and growth are characteristics of what may be found within; the inner lens that reflects back a being that one knows better than one knows . . .”

“When there is nowhere to begin, it helps to reason why one should even start. A direction is never clear at first since it’s all expansive and all encompassing – the narrowing of ideas is what creates a path. Taking the first step to anywhere for any reason, is reason enough for any creator to begin whatever it is that one’s potential decides to exhibit.”

“When something seems incredibly non-productive, unrelated to your endeavours, and the least desirable of all your actions, that something just might be the change you are seeking, whether or not it seems ideal. All it takes is a moment to accept such possibility and you’ve already changed your path and grown your potential.”

In the way of potential action is nought but the un-actioned thought that disables it.
